It seems that the end of the year is time not only for presents, but also for awards and acknowledgment. Since last December we won first place award at "Business development" category of Forbes-Bulgaria, this we have one more reason to be proud...
We are happy to announce that Walltopia has been awarded for most innovative company at the 8th National Innovation Forum, organized by the Enterprise Europe Network. The award was given from Mr. Rosen Plevneliev, President of Bulgaria.
This award has been particularly given for our two of our latest products- Transformable structure and One More Life Saving Mats (now part of safety Engineering).
Innovation has always been our focus and we were glad to see that our efforts and achievements have been noticed.
Last Saturday, on December 15th, the atmosphere at our head office in Bulgaria was way different than usual with plenty of kids around starting from age 7 to teenagers.
Just a week before Christmas, we have invited all of the young climbers who have shown best results in national and international competitions throughout the last season to meet us and receive individual scholarships for their achievements. They knew the reason why we have invited them but did not know that a huge surprise was awaiting for them at the office...
The kids did not just receive scholarships from Walltopia and training boards from HRT, but also had the chance to meet Chris Sharma!
It is hard to express how much inspired and motivated for even greater results they left the office!
We are back home after our first participation in the IAAPA Attraction Show! We had many meetings and lots of fun! It was a great feeling to see how much people of all ages(!!!) enjoy our Funtopia walls!
The greatest interest was given to our floating holds, especially those set on speed climbing mode. We even had a new record set: 6.5 seconds to the top!

Walltopia Ltd has just announced the Open International Architectural Competition for designing the Collider Activity Center, which will be the new meeting place for all active people in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The competition is open, international and one stage. International jury will nominate and award 5 projects. The jury will consist of architects from Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Bulgaria. The total sum of the prizes is 25 000 EUR and a commission contract for construction drawings (architecture only) with a price of 15 EUR per sq.m. Each of the 5 projects nominated by the jury will receive 5 000 EUR. Walltopia will take into consideration the recommendations of the jury and will choose one of the nominated projects, with whom they will sign a commission contract for execution of construction drawings.
The deadline for submitting the competition projects is 28 February, 2013. The full project assignment and competition documents are available online at www.collider.eu

For already 10 years in a row, Walltopia took part in the largest European fair for the outdoor industry which took place in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

We are happy to announce that Walltopia is now working on the design and installation of one of America's largest climbing gyms, scheduled to open in early 2013- The Cliffs Climbing Center.
Working in conjunction with The Cliffs owner, Mike Wolfert, we are currently implementing the use of our most innovative designs and products for the Long Island City facility. The Cliffs L.I.C. will be one America’s largest indoor climbing facilities offering over 30,000 square feet of climbing surface. It will include climbing for all levels including 134 top rope stations, lead climbing reaching 60’ in height, top out bouldering and a private area for birthday parties.

This past week, Walltopia's head office in Bulgaria was excited to host our agents from the USA, Canada, UK, Austria,
Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain, and The Netherlands to discuss all the latest and greatest in Walltopia's global network.
Along with a tight schedule of numerous presentations focusing on innovation and cutting-edge technology, we also toured the newly expanded Walltopia factory to show the whole production process!
Our special guest at the Agent Meeting was Chris Sharma, the world's best climber over the last 15 years. We are all very excited to have Chris on board and his presence and input at the workshop sessions was greatly appreciated!
We were very happy to spend four full days working with our colleagues from around the world, and thank them for making the event a huge success, and for all the positive energy and high spirits throughout the event.
We have also made a short video with Chris about his stay in Bulgaria and his work with Walltopia on the first climbing gym that he has attached his own name to-Sender One. Stay tuned!!!

Chris Sharma (born April 23, 1981) is an elite American professional rock climber, with numerous difficult and famous first ascents. He is one of the most recognizable faces in rock climbing, and has been at the sport’s forefront for over a decade. He continues to set new standards, recently capturing first ascents of First Round First Minute (9b/5.15b) and Fight or Flight (9b/5.15b). Chris finished Fight or Flight the same day he also completed Chaxi (9a+/5.15a).

It has already been fixed at the Diekletterhalle St. Galen in the Switzerland and another one will be used for the Mammut Youth Climbing Cups. Logos can be attached and removed as many times as you wish! The GRP climbable volume is also applicable for outdoor shops and climbing gyms.

The new factory is situated in a 58-thousand square meters terrain. The building has been constructed in perfect conformity with the specifics of the climbing wall production process. Such a large production area allows economies of scale and thorough optimization of manufacturing. The production process is not only quicker but also more efficient and profitable. Such an increase in efficiency provides us with the opportunity to produce higher quality climbing structures at lower costs. Therefore, Walltopia is more cable of satisfying customers' needs than ever before.
